CUSTOMER COULDN’T FAULT THE TRENCHER HIRE UK SERVICE

When Damien Walker hired a Toro TRX-16 for the day - to dig out a service trench to install water and electricity to a static caravan on land in Warrington - the machine proved to be a real workhorse.

Hired-out for the day in May, the unit operated on a field that was clay-based underneath and it effortlessly cut through the vast majority of the 85 metres of ground that it covered. However, within this old farmer’s field there were elements of a hard-core path which had been previously laid for access, as well as bits of concrete slab.

Damien commented: “When it came to joining the two trenches from different directions – just outside the stable – we used a JCB 3X because of the ground conditions. It’s hardly a precision machine and it left some devastation in its path! The neatness of the work undertaken by the trencher was superb and had a lovely crisp edge to it. We simply dropped the pipes in and ploughed the soil back over the top.

“I can’t speak highly enough about the service I received from Trencher Hire UK. The whole experience couldn’t have been better - the machine was delivered earlier than expected, looked brand new and the level of communication by the company was excellent,” he said.
